Subject: The Interamerican Court of Human Rights defines the concept of forced disappearance of persons. Recalling also regional jurisprudence and statutes, the Court underlines in particular the continuous and multi-offensive character of such crime, and the Member States’ duty to investigate, try and sentence those who are responsible for serious violations of human rights.
