Subject: The Interamerican Commission of human rights has put forward a claim against Argentina after the report presented by Mr. Juan Francisco Bueno Alves. The Interamerican Court of human rights has ascertained the violation of the rights of Mr. Alves to personal integrity, to jurisdictional guarantees and protection, as provided by articles 5.1, 5.2, 8.1 and 25 of the American Convention of human rights. The State has been also condemned to some payments as compensation for material and immaterial damages suffered by Mr. Alves. The State is also obliged to carry out, within one year, the necessary enquiries to identify and to condemn those who are responsible for the facts considered and to publish the decision in the “Official Diary”, so that it can have high circulation, which represents a form of reparation.
