Subject: The English Supreme Court analyses the compatibility between the administrative procedure, carried out provisionally and without adversarial procedure, which can enable certain persons to take care of people with psychological problems, and the principle of fair trial and the right to respect of private and family life (art. 8 of the ECHR). The procedure is provided by the Care Act of the year 2000.
