Subject: The Constitutional Court has examined the compatibility of the law regarding the European arrest warrant (art. 33 of the law 22 April 2005 , n. 69) with the Constitution. The Court has stated the illegitimacy of the norm where it does not provide for inclusion of the detention on remand suffered abroad, in execution of the European arrest warrant, also with regard to the time limits of detention provided by the Italian criminal procedure code.
