Subject: The Author examines the effectiveness of the protection provided by the European Convention of Human Rights thanks to the full possibility of protection of the rights there recognized, mostly as a consequence of the many claims (which however could put in a difficult position the European Court, “victim of her own success”); he dwells upon the extent of the issues dealt by the Court from a substantial and procedural point of view, observing however the limited importance given to the social dimension of the rights.
