Subject: The European Parliament considered that the draft regulation, which includes among the permitted methods for screening of passengers in EU airports the use of body scanners, could have a serious impact on the fundamental rights of the EU citizens. For this reason, it asked the EDPS, the Article 29 Working Party of diretcive 95/46/EC and the FRA to urgently deliver an opinion.
