Subject: The Parliamentary Assembly refers to its Resolution 1633 (2008) on the consequences of the war between Georgia and Russia in which it welcomed inter alia the initiative of the Swedish Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers to convene an informal extraordinary meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs on 24 September 2008 in order to prepare the response of the intergovernmental sector of the Organisation to the war between Georgia and Russia.
