Subject: The Council of State has rejected the claim lodged by some environmentalist associations against law 10 April 2007, which provided the construction of a nuclear reactor on the site of Flamanville (Manche). The claimants accused the authorities of having violated Community laws, the norms of the Charte de l’Environnement and the Conventions of Aarhus, concerning transparency, information and public participation in decisions regarding the environment.
