Subject: The Court affirmed that a Member State cannot make entitlement to parental leave subject to the requirement that the parent was employed at the time of the birth or adoption of the child. The Member State can, however, require that the parent was employed without interruption for a period of at least 12 months immediately before the start of that parental leave
