Subject: The opinion of the Sąd Najwyższy (Supreme Court), according to which the bill of 12 December 2019 reforming the judicial power (“projekt ustawy o zmianie ustawy - Prawo o ustroju sądów powszechnych, ustawy o Sądzie Najwyższym oraz niektórych innych ustaw”) would be in contrast with European law, since it could lead the European institutions to start a procedure for the violation of duties deriving from the treaties and, in the long term, it could make the State withdraw from the Union
