Subject: The decision on the Bulgarian authorities’ prolonged failure to execute a final judgment in the applicants’ favour restoring their ownership of agricultural land, which was collectivised during the communist era. The Court found that Bulgaria was to complete the restitution process and return to the applicants their land within three month from the date on which the judgment became final; or, failing this, pay 553,000 euros in respect of pecuniary damage and EUR 1,147 for costs and expenses
