Moreover the Parliament calls on the Commission and the Member States to introduce gender equality into all environmental policy areas, and at all levels of economic decision-making, and to create sustainable transport systems which take equal account of women's and men's transportation needs and which, at the same time, have a low impact on the environment. Additionally it calls on the Member States to promote women's entrepreneurship in the green economy by facilitating women's access to it, through the dissemination of data and training workshops and by creating measures to help women achieve a balance between their working and private lives. Finally, it stresses that gender inequalities in relation to access to resources, such as microloans, credit, information and technology, should be taken into account when defining strategies to combat climate change.
