Subject: The Court held unanimously that there had been:a violation of Article 3 (prohibition of inhuman or degrading treatment) of the European Convention on Human Rights concerning the applicants detention with other prisoners in the ordinary part of Zenica Prison;no violation of Article 3 of the Convention concerning their detention conditions in the prison hospital unit; and,a violation of Article 13 (right to an effective remedy) taken in conjunction with Article 3.
