Subject: The Court dismissed the action of the United Kingdom, affirming that the Council was correct in refusing to allow this State to take part in the adoption of the Regulation establishing standards for security features and biometrics in passports. The United Kingdom may take part in the adoption of measures developing the Schengen acquis with the condition that it already takes part in the provisions on which the new measure is based.
