Subject: The Court ruled that the Spanish national legislation, according to which the fact that a worker has reached retirement age laid down by that legislation leads to automatic termination of his employment contract, even if it creates differences of treatment on the grounds of age, is objectively and reasonably justified by a legitimate aim relating to promote better access to employment, by means of better work distribution between the generations.
