Subject: The Interamerican Court of Human Rights, also recalling the jurisprudence of the Court of Strasbourg, has considered the Venezuelan State responsible for having violated article 1 of the Interamerican Convention on the obligation of the respect of human rights, and in particular the rights to physical integrity and to freedom of expression, for not having prevented and punished the repeated physical and verbal aggressions against workers of the RTV television broadcasting station, also carried out by public officials.
