Subject: The steadily growing number of trans-national cyber crimes has motivated the European Commission to adopt a communication in which a number of actions are aimed at improving cooperation structures within the EU. General harmonisation of crime definitions and national penal laws in the field of cyber crime remains yet a long-term objective.
