Subject: The Constitutional Court, also applying the jurisprudence of the Court of Strasbourg, has quashed a decision of the Audiencia Nacional of 27 April 2007, which provided the claimant’s hand-over to the Romanian authorities, according to a European arrest warrant, because the sentence passed in Romania was the result of a trial in absentia.
