Subject: The EU and the United States signed the Agreement on the processing and transfer of passenger name record (PNR) data by air carriers to the United States Departement of Homeland Security (DHS).The Agreement replaces the interim Agreement which was signed by the EU and the United States in October 2006 after that the Court of Justice annulled the text because of its wrong legal base.
